Ideal candidates
A good candidate for the fat transfer procedure will be healthy, both physically and emotionally, with no major medical issues to speak of. He or she should have realistic expectations based on their consultation with our APS board certified surgeons in New Jersey.
There are some cases in which the patient will not have adequate fat in the donor areas to make the transfer. In these situations, the doctors will suggest alternative methods of recreating lost volume, such as with the use of implants.

Procedure
The breast augmentation procedure is quite common and boasts an impressive safety record. This fact isn’t changed by any of the decisions you’ll be able to make. We don’t move forward with any procedure unless we know it can be performed safely and effectively.
Fat is harvested through thin cannulas from the outer hips, or love handles. It is then processed for the face and can be injected into the nasolabial and labiomandibular folds, as well as the cheeks, lips, or under the eyes. Some fat is stored in the freezer and the patient returns a few times during the year to build up a nice, long-lasting result.
