Ultherapy

Are you concerned with loose, sagging skin on your face, neck, or décolletage?

The aging process can cause sagging or loose skin on your face, neck, or décolletage. If you have concerns about skin laxity in these areas but aren’t ready for cosmetic surgery, you may benefit from treatment with Ultherapy®, the only FDA-cleared, non-invasive treatment proven to tighten and lift the skin on the face, jawline, neck, and upper chest.1

Ultherapy is a revolutionary skin tightening treatment that targets these common signs of aging by boosting new collagen and elastin production and yielding visibly noticeable results with no downtime.

Our distinguished, board-certified plastic surgeons proudly provide Ultherapy treatment to patients at our offices in Edison, Marlboro, West Orange, and Warren, New Jersey.

Before and After Photos

About

Ultherapy uses ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen production and trigger a regenerative response below the skin’s surface. This patented technology ensures ideal amounts of energy are delivered to precisely targeted areas, allowing collagen production to gradually lift and soften skin for natural-looking and long-lasting results – typically after just one treatment.2

Ultherapy skin rejuvenation can also be used to enhance and extend results from a facial plastic surgery procedure, allowing it to offer a wonderful alternative to dermal fillers or laser treatments for patients wishing to prolong facelift and brow lift outcomes.

How it works

Preparing for Ultherapy

No preparation is necessary for your Ultherapy treatment. Simply arrive at our plastic surgery center without wearing any skin care products or makeup.

The Ultherapy procedure

Ultherapy is performed in our comfortable offices, and treatment takes between 90 minutes and four hours.

During Ultherapy treatment, your technician will use a device to send ultrasound energy to different skin depths, depending on your unique needs and goals. Pain should not be a part of your Ultherapy experience, though you may encounter a mild burning sensation.

Recovery after Ultherapy

Ultherapy requires no needles, no incisions, and no recovery time. It is entirely possible to visit one of our plastic surgery offices over your lunch hour and return to your normal activities immediately following.

Better still, Ultherapy does not require special post-treatment care or necessitate staying out of the sun. Nonetheless, it is advisable to continue caring for your skin following Ultherapy with sunscreen, moisturizers, and gentle cleansers as needed.

Results

Unlike plastic surgery procedures, Ultherapy will not produce instant results. While many patients will see results quickly – in as little as three days in some cases – it can take two to three months for complete firming and lifting to be achieved.3

This may make Ultherapy a better option for people who desire a more lifted and smooth appearance but are not yet good candidates for facelift surgery.
